Reckitt Benckiser India head resigns

S Raghunandan has quit Reckitt Benckiser India within three weeks of taking over as the Country Head of the UK-based consumer products maker after quitting as the CEO at Paras Pharmaceuticals. According to Raghunandan, he plans to take a sabbatical for about a year and the next move remains unplanned.
He took over as the Country Head of the maker of Dettol antiseptic soap and Veet depilatory products only on January 2, following the moving of former Reckitt Benckiser India chairman and MD, C M Sethi, as the firm's South East Asia Head.
Raghunandan's decision to quit leaves the Rs 2,000-crore Reckitt Benckiser India without a head in a critical market growing at 20 per cent year-on-year.
