Godrej Appliances, one of India’s leading appliance manufacturers have launched first-of-its-kind refrigerator equipped with an in-built FM Radio and MP3 Player. Consumers, generally the housewives can now listen to their favourite music while working in the kitchen. This appliance is sure to catch the eyes of the mass in the country, as the technology convergence in refrigerators for Indian homes is something that can be termed as exciting times ahead for Godrej. Speaking on the launch of such an innovation, Mr. Kamal Nandi, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Godrej Appliances said, “Today, consumers have a lot to choose from, which matches their discerning lifestyles, after undertaking consumer insight research in the country for some time, we have introduced these refrigerators understanding their needs, and also keeping the core philosophy of Godrej i.e. Designed by curiosity and Brighter living. We plan to sell 18 lakh units in the first year, and we’re launching these models in Delhi initially, later on we’ll move into other cities, these are the entry level refrigerators which will be available in the market from next month. The double-door variant will be available by the festive season” he added. Available in 5 different colours at an attractive price range of Rs. 12,690- Rs.15,660/-Godrej appliances have recorded a turnover of Rs.2000cr for the last year & their projected growth for the next year is estimated at 20% CAGR.
