The Beverly Hills flagship store offers Dongre’s signature fusion of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design, reflecting her vision of modern-day Rajasthan. The interiors showcase hand-painted Pichhwai walls depicting deer, flora, and elephants — meticulously created by Rajasthani artisans over several months. Adding a touch of art and sustainability, the store also features an installation from The Great Elephant Migration, a global art movement highlighting sculptures made from invasive Lantana weeds by indigenous Indian communities.
To celebrate the grand opening, Mindy Kaling and Poorna Jagannathan hosted an intimate, star-studded evening that saw attendance from notable personalities such as Jay and Radhika Shetty, Anjula Acharia, Richa Moorjani, Amrit Kaur, Payal Kadakia, Leo Kalyan, Ramona Young, Lee Rodriguez, Ami Desai, Aadil Abedi, Jeannie Mai, and Amanda Henry.
Dongre’s global recognition has been solidified through her celebrity clientele. Kim Kardashian, Beyoncé, Chris Martin, Dakota Johnson, and Kate Middleton have all been spotted in her creations, along with Indian celebrities like Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Alia Bhatt, Sonam Kapoor, and Sophie Turner.
With the Beverly Hills launch, Anita Dongre continues her mission of taking Indian craftsmanship to the world, blending heritage, sustainability, and luxury. The flagship invites Los Angeles’ multicultural audience to experience a dialogue between tradition and modernity, celebrating the spirit of conscious couture.
