SAMHI Hotels Limited has announced its unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q2 and H1 FY25, reflecting significant growth in key metrics. With a 16.5 percent year-over-year increase in RevPAR to Rs 4,529, the company shows strong demand across India’s primary hospitality markets, where commercial activities are driving consistent growth.

Brigade Hotel Ventures Limited, one of South India’s prominent private hotel asset owners, has submitted its Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) to the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) as part of its initial public offering (IPO) process. This IPO includes a fresh issuance of equity shares valued at Rs 10 each, to raise up to Rs 900 crore.
The company is the second-largest owner of chain-affiliated hotels and rooms in South India among private hotel asset owners with portfolios of 500 or more rooms nationwide as of June 30, 2024. Consumer food brand Yu has raised Rs 55 crore ($6.5 million) in a Series B funding round, co-led by Ashish Kacholia and the Asian Promoter Group. This funding has allowed some of the company's seed-stage investors to exit with over 4x returns on their investments.
The fresh capital will be used to strengthen Yu’s distribution network and expand its food portfolio. Additionally, Yu plans to grow its beverage line by introducing 100 percent fruit juices with no added sugar, according to the company’s press release.
Founded in 2021 by Bharat Bhalla and Varun Kapur, Yu is an omni-channel brand that offers a variety of instant food and beverages, all made from 100 percent natural ingredients. Initially focused on instant cup noodles and pasta, the company has since diversified into ready-to-cook products and natural beverages.

The Disney Imagination Garden is designed as an enchanted valley, inspired by Disney’s iconic stories, and features vibrant, open-air landscapes set against a three-deck-tall storybook castle art piece—a first for Disney Cruise Line. This central hub will also include a state-of-the-art theatrical stage, two quick-service eateries, a bar, and garden-view staterooms, offering guests a blend of dining, entertainment, and retail experiences in a single area.
