Prasad Rao Appointed General Manager of Courtyard by Marriott Gorakhpur

Prasad Rao has been named the General Manager of Courtyard by Marriott Gorakhpur.

With more than 15 years of progressive leadership in the hospitality sector, Prasad arrives with a wealth of experience. In his new position, he'll oversee operations, handle finances, promote effective team communication, and uphold compliance with changing regulations.

Prasad has been instrumental in launching numerous hotels, actively shaping policies, operational procedures, and elevating overall efficiency.

His impressive career, marked by notable accomplishments at prestigious venues, positions him as a key driver in the hotel's pursuit of excellence.

Prasad began his professional journey at JW Marriott Hotels. Starting as an Assistant Events Manager at Goa Marriott Resort & Spa, he transitioned to various leadership roles within the chain's different properties.

Alongside, he gained diverse experience across multiple positions in the Food and Beverage department of renowned hotels such as Accor Hotels - Novotel Pune, Radisson Hotel Group, Renaissance Mumbai Hotel & Convention Centre, and Hilton Hotels Worldwide.

With a degree in Hotel Management specializing in Food and Beverage Service from the National Council for Hotel Management, IHM Goa, Prasad is esteemed for his analytical prowess, business expertise, and strategic planning abilities.

His wide-ranging skills encompass hotel design, conceptual ideation, and refining processes for optimization, granting him extensive insight into the hospitality sector.
