Renaissance Ahmedabad Hotel appoints Rohit Dasgupta as General Manager

The Renaissance Ahmedabad Hotel has appointed Rohit Dasgupta as its new General Manager.

With over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Dasgupta is a seasoned professional with a strong background in guest service, revenue management, pre-opening of hotels, training of hospitality staff, and overseeing profit centers in luxury hotels across India.

He started his career with New Delhi Hilton and has worked with award-winning hotels like The Oberoi Group, Taj Hotels and Resorts, The Imperial and Radisson Hotels, over the years.

Rohit Dasgupta has a track record of success in his previous roles, having served as Hotel Manager at both the Trident, Gurgaon and the Trident, Agra. During his tenure at these hotels, he consistently achieved above 95% scores on the Guest Satisfaction Index, as well as employee satisfaction scores of over 88% that were awarded by Great Places to Work.

Aside from his work in hospitality, Rohit Dasgupta is also a co-founder of EazyDiner.com, a premium restaurant discovery and booking platform available in 13 cities across India and Dubai.

In this role, he helped create a digital experience that was user-friendly and efficient, resulting in increased demand and optimized capacity. Furthermore, Rohit served as the Chief Hospitality Officer of Ahmedabad International Airport, where he ensured that services provided were of high quality, resulting in customer satisfaction and efficient utilization of resources for improved service quality.
