Kama Schachter, one of India’s leading diamond jewellery manufacturers and exporters, has forayed into the Indian retail diamond jewellery segment. With this foray, the company will offer premium ‘Kama Jewellery’ under two private label brands – ‘Kama Love’, which is an exclusive range of couple bands and ‘Kama Platinum’, an exquisite range of best selling designs in Platinum.

Foreseeing the future as retail, Kama Jewellery plans to expand its network by opening 20 retail outlets by next five years of which 3 will be operational within this year.

“With the increasing surge of urbanisation, Indian consumers are vying for diamond jewellery with a touch of reliability, quality and value.  Kama is all set to offer differentiation and create aspiration in the couple band category, to build a brand in the untapped market for couple bands. Our platinum range too is designed to suit the taste of today’s consumers, keeping it light weight and easy on the pocket. Apart from the private label brands like Kama Love and Kama Platinum, we will continue to add 100 new designs each month to our range of hallmarked diamond jewellery,” said Colin Shah, Managing Director, Kama Schachter.
