FAISAL KHAN LAUNCHES A SPECIAL LINE OF RIDING GEAR- FK-R

Automotive influencer Faisal Khan recently launched a special line of motorcycle riding gear FK-R under the MotorBeam Digital Private Limited banner, this personalized gear is a limited-edition item for those looking to level up their style with quality biking gear. He elaborates on his range in a conversation with License India.

Tell us about the inspiration behind this range and your journey so far

I wanted to make very unique styled riding gear which would stand out yet offer complete protection to the rider. My favourite colour is blue and so is the colour of the MotorBeam (the digital automobile content platform that I started) logo. The idea was to make riding gear which offers unmatched style, protection and practicality and thus was born the FK-R Signature Collection.

Also, elaborate on your association with Qyuki

I have been a part of the Qyuki network for more than 5 years now. Not only have they helped me understand video content better (both from production and optimisation perspective) but have also helped me make FK-R a reality.

What is your assessment of riding gear market in India? What are the factors propelling the growth in this segment?

Riding gear is still at a nascent stage in India and although there is growth in sales of protective gear, there is still a massive chunk of riders who don't understand its importance yet. The current growth of riding gear can be attributed to better safety awareness amongst motorcycle riders and the same needs to spread further.

How do you feel about licensed merchandise in riding gear space?

I think there is great scope of the same. People are searching for value and quality and they don't mind spending extra to get a better product.

At last, kindly highlight your future plans.

The FK-R Signature Collection is almost sold out so we are working on the second collection which will cater to a large audience base. We have got great feedback from customers about what kind of riding jacket they want for day to day use in the city and basis the same, we are working on bringing a street jacket in the market which will offer the best quality and value.
