V-Mart plans to reach 1,000 towns in next few years

V-Mart, the Delhi-based retailer, is eyeing to reach 1,000 towns in the next few years. Currently, the retail chain has operations in 172 cities across 17 states.

V-Mart has 218 stores spread across West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Chandigarh, Haryana, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, New Delhi, Punjab and Rajasthan.

Apart from apparel, the company also offers general merchandise products like footwear, home furnishing, kitchenware, toys and games, bags and luggage, and kirana bazaar products such as packaged food items and beauty products.

V-Mart’s operations are spread across northern, western and eastern parts of India. The company’s vendor base is above 1000 pan-India. It is upgrading its products and services in order to meet changing customer needs.
