Villeroy & Boch reenters India

Villeroy & Boch, a Germany-based luxury ceramic products player, has recently formed a joint venture with Genesis Luxury Fashion to manage distribution of its tableware products here, and both partners will have equal stake. The first store of this JV is set to open shortly in Mumbai and over the next five years, a network of 16 stores is planned. This German company earlier had a distribution agreement with Spa Group and it ended last year. Nicolas Luc Villeroy, Director and Tableware Business Unit Manager,  Villeroy & Boch AG, said, “Genesis is a leading player in the luxury segment here and is perfectly suited for distributing our products here.”
