An entrepreneurial venture in the wellness and beauty space, Cosmic Nutracos is strengthening its presence in the international market The products of the company’s two retail brands, Gaia and Skinella, will now be available in Southeast Asian countries -Cambodia and Myanmar.

Cosmic had started its expansion to the international markets in 2012 with South Asian countries Bhutan and Nepal. It is positive that there is enough space for the growth of Gaia’s range of health food products and nutritional supplements and Skinella’s skincare products. Both Gaia and Skinella have a strong distribution network in Bhutan and Nepal.

The company derives its confidence from 100 percent YoY growth in the international market. The entrepreneurial venture has solid plans for digital marketing in both Myanmar and Cambodia. It will be roping in the influencers from these countries for social media engagement along with building awareness and recognition for the brands. To reach the masses, Cosmic will incorporate some regional elements in its communication like the use of regional languages.

Speaking on the expansion, Dolly Kumar, Founder & Director at Cosmic Nutracos Solutions Pvt. Ltd., the parent company to Gaia and Skinella, said, “I think there is a lot of potential in the international markets. Currently, our focus is on four markets, Bhutan, Nepal, Myanmar, and Cambodia. Going forward, we will be expanding our presence to many other countries. We are expecting about 30 percent revenue share from the international market and this will only increase manifold every year.”  

In Cambodia, the company is associated with stores such as Japanese retail leader Aeon, Chip Mong retail, Bayon International, Arona Market, and Angkor market among others. The partner stores in Myanmar include City Mart Holding Limited, Market Place, Ocean Mart, Makro, One-Stop Kitchen, and One-stop Convenience among others.

Gaia is reaching out to Southeast Asian consumers through wet sampling and innovative packaging at all leading stores.
