Pilgrim Expands Product Portfolio, Launches New Range of Vegan Skincare Product

D2C beauty and personal care brand Pilgrim doubles down on its mission of making borderless beauty experiences accessible and affordable to the Indian market. 

The brand has announced the launch of their whole new product range named ‘Secrets of Seville’, bringing the beauty secrets from España to India. This new range comes with the key ingredient, ‘squalane’. Squalane, a stabilized form of Squalene, strengthens skin barriers and prevents transepidermal water loss, transforming dull dehydrated skin. This launch makes Pilgrim the only Indian brand with a dedicated product range based on squalane.

Essentially, squalene is a saturated hydrocarbon found naturally in the skin whose primary job is to prove hydration and nourishment to the skin. However, as we age, its natural production declines, and thus, people resort to external moisturizers to combat dry and rough skin. The wonder-ingredient squalane is usually derived from animals, specifically, shark liver which misaligns with Pilgrim’s values as a Vegan and cruelty-free brand. 


Unlike its western counterparts, Pilgrim derives squalane from Spanish olives to ensure that no animal is harmed in the process. Other major ingredients included in the range are Phyto-retinol, the plant-based alternative of retinol offering benefits of retinol minus the irritation and redness as well as Coenzyme Q10 which is full of anti-oxidant properties and energizes skin.

“Hence, we decided to launch an entire range of products based on it for every different need of our consumers, mainly hydration. We have received an overwhelming response from our customers with the soft launch of the range so far, and look forward to a great marketing launch,” he added. 

The Secrets of Seville range by Pilgrim comes after their two highly successful product ranges namely, the ‘Secrets of Jeju Island’, and the ‘Secrets of Vinotherapie’ respectively. With this new range, Pilgrim is bringing a range of 13 beauty and skincare products each of which targets a specific issue. The new range is now available on Pilgrim’s website and major e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, etc.
