Retail India News: Newme Debuts in Mumbai with Flagship Store at Infiniti Mall

Newme, the pioneering Gen Z-focused fashion-tech startup, has entered the dynamic Mumbai market with the opening of its first flagship store at Infiniti Mall, Malad. Situated on the 2nd floor, covering 3600 sqft, the store caters to the digital native consumers, offering an interactive and 'Instagrammable' environment designed for the selfie-savvy generation.

Setting itself apart in the Indian fast-fashion landscape, Newme introduces over 500 fresh and trendy designs weekly, employing technology to optimize its supply chain. The brand's omnichannel approach, a departure from the online-only strategy of many fashion companies, has contributed to significant growth in the past year, fueled by tech integration and effective marketing strategies.

Sumit Jasoria, Co-Founder and CEO of NEWME said, “We are thrilled to launch our first flagship store in Mumbai, the fashion capital of India! Mumbai, being the epicenter of the entertainment industry in India, acts as the trendsetter when it comes to fashion, and hence we chose Mumbai as our second city for offline presence. We have strategically chosen Infiniti Mall for our store, as this area serves a large chunk of our loyal customers in Mumbai. As we continue to grow, we are excited about the journey ahead, expanding our retail presence to over 12 stores across India in the next year and connecting with even more fashion-forward individuals across the country. With this pace, we are confident we will be able to become Gen Z's most preferred fashion brand in India.

The brand's recent Black Friday Sale showcased its popularity, with customers lining up outside stores in Bengaluru, resulting in a remarkable 10X growth in a single day. This surge underscores Newme's ability to captivate its selfie-savvy audience and meet the demands of fashion-forward Gen Z women in India.

With a focus on technology-driven engagement, expanding retail reach, and inspiring Gen Z fashion enthusiasts nationwide, Newme is poised to redefine the retail experience for the digital-savvy generation.
