Silver Jewelry Brand GIVA Teams Up With Shoppers Stop to Augment its Offline Presence

Online Silver jewelry startup GIVA has announced its collaboration with the department stores Shoppers Stop, to augment its offline presence in key Indian metro cities.

This association will result in GIVA’s products being available across Shoppers Stop stores in Mumbai and Bengaluru, to begin with, and is part of the company’s plan to establish a considerable physical presence across the country.

In fact, long considered a pioneer of bringing leading brands under one roof, Shoppers Stop has grown multifold since its inception in 1991 and provides a truly international shopping experience across its 86 stores in 40 Indian cities.

Commenting on this partnership, Ishendra Agarwal, Founder, GIVA added, “We are delighted to partner with Shoppers Stop in a bid to expand our offline presence across the country and bring our exquisitely crafted range of modern silver jewellery pieces closer to our customers. With this collaboration, we are confident of significantly expanding our customer base by physically showcasing the timeless elegance of pure silver jewellery that is perfect for daily wear and is even ideal for festive wear. On the business front, we aim to clock revenues over Rs 100 crore in this fiscal year by the augmented sales through in-store purchases at Shoppers Stop outlets.”

Elaborating on the decision to collaborate with GIVA, Venu Nair, CEO & MD Shoppers Stop stated, “As a brand that has always pursued all possibilities, Shoppers Stop has transformed the retail shopping experience in India over the past three decades of its operation and thrives on the shared passion to deliver the best customer experience. We believe that by leveraging the visibility provided by our stores, GIVA can allure discerning customers to try out their vast range of exquisitely crafted silver jewellery pieces and further expand their customer base. At Shoppers Stop, we hope that we can build upon this partnership and progressively expand it to cover more of our stores across the cities we operate in.”

With the luxury goods and jewellery space witnessing increasing demand from Indian consumers, who are consciously upgrading to high-quality options that also provide good value, the time is ripe for brands to up their game and cater to this burgeoning space. With both brands epitomizing this exact requirement and providing Indian consumers with an unbeatable experience, this partnership is expected to benefit both GIVA and Shoppers Stop in augmenting their ever-expanding loyal customer base.
