Rolling Stone has announced its expansion into the Indian hospitality business with Jay Jay and Kwality Restaurants Private Limited (JJAKRPL).

JJAKRPL is bringing a Rolling Stone concept Café & Bar and nightclub to Mumbai, with plans to expand in other metropolitan cities over the next five years.

“Over the past few years, the Indian market has evolved tremendously, paving the way for innovative hospitality concepts,” said Debashish Ghosh, Managing Director of International Markets at Penske Media Corporation (PMC) by adding that the group has partnered with JJAKRPL Restaurants to bring the Rolling Stone brand to life through experiential spaces in café, bar, and club formats, with a unique positioning for the Indian consumer.

The Rolling Stone Café & Bar will highlight cuisines from around the globe. The chef-driven menu will offer a modern take on classic food, alongside an expansive bar including a variety of cocktails, beers and non-alcoholic beverages. The space will feature high ceilings, ample seating and a sizable stage, built for live performances. Additionally, patrons can view Rolling Stone’s signature covers and other surprises throughout the Café & Bar.

The Rolling Stone nightclub will offer an immersive experience where music enthusiasts and partygoers can come together to celebrate live music. The club will be open from 11pm into the early morning and feature premium alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

“We're thrilled to introduce the Rolling Stone Café & Bar and nightclub to the vibrant India Metropolitan market,” said Rohit Malhotra, CEO of JJAKRPL. “The concept isn't just about food and music; it's a fusion of culture and entertainment. We believe that this unique blend of offerings will allow fans and consumers to experience Rolling Stone in a new and authentic way,” he added.

The group is planning to open 10 stores in first five years and also invest around 85cr to 90cr in the market.
