Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway has introduced Ms. Sushma Khichar as the newly appointed General Manager.

With more than 18 years of professional experience in the service industry, Ms. Khichar brings a rich blend of expertise and leadership to her role.

Ms. Khichar has played a major role in boosting revenues, elevating guest service, and streamlining overall support functions.

Commencing her journey with Marriott International in 2006, she has consistently showcased exceptional decision-making abilities in various senior management positions.

Ms. Khichar initiated her career as a Front Office Assistant at The Oberoi, Mumbai, holding a Diploma in Travel & Tourism and a B.Sc. from the University of Rajasthan.

She has accumulated substantial experience over the years, contributing her skills to prestigious hotels such as Aloft Bengaluru Cessna Business Park, Bengaluru Marriott Hotel Whitefield, JW Marriott Mussoorie, JW Marriott Chandigarh, Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai, and The Renaissance Mumbai Hotel & Convention Centre.

Prior to assuming the position of General Manager at Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway, Ms. Khichar held the position of Cluster General Manager at Courtyard and Fairfield by Marriott Bengaluru Outer Ring Road.

In the course of her career, Ms. Khichar has been honored with prestigious awards, notably the General Manager of the Year Award for Spirit to Serve our Guests APEC 2020 from Marriott International.

Her proficiency in pre-opening operations has played a significant role in the successful launches of several Marriott properties.
