Hygiene Plus Expands Product Portfolio, Launches Made-In-India Hygiene Products

Hygiene Plus, a Hygiene and Sanitary products manufacturing start-up, has announced the launch of the first-ever made-in-India hygiene and sanitary products, including Sanitary Napkins (Regular and Premium), Baby Wipes, Refreshing Wipes, Bath Towel for babies, adults, and kids, and Laundry Detergent Pills.

The products would be sold in general and modern trade markets of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi and NCR, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, and West Bengal. Other than these states, the products will also be available all over India through e-commerce platforms such as Flipkart, Amazon, and Blinkit.

The vision of Hygiene Plus is very much in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Atma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan where they create hygiene and sanitary products from the scratch. Unlike other players in the market, Hygiene Plus is the only startup to make the raw materials locally that are used to make the final goods, which directly cuts the production costs which will guarantee high-quality products at a better and more affordable cost, making them pocket-friendly for everyone to utilize with ease.

Gautam Kanodia, MD of Hygiene Plus Pvt Ltd., said, “Our objective has always been to offer people adequate and affordable hygiene and sanitation amenities, and we launched Hygiene Plus with the same goal in mind. During the COVID-19 pandemic, manufacturing and supply disruption in hygiene and sanitary product led to shortage and increase in prices of these products.”

This resulted in persons living in the rural areas beginning to disregard their personal hygiene. Following the outbreak of the Covid 19 Pandemic, we concluded that India requires economical and high-quality hygiene and sanitary solutions. The realization led to the founding of Hygiene Plus where we offer products that are the finest of nature for the holistic health and well-being of every household at an affordable price. With the launch, we plan to acquire 100 percent of the growth in 3 years in the Hygiene and Sanitary sector,” he added.

Further talking about the market growth, he added, “The hygiene segment has shown massive growth in the Indian market since the last two years, especially during COVID-19. The current market size is expected to reach the value of 15$ billion by 2023 and we intend to acquire 10 percent of the market share with the launch of our hygiene and sanitary products. ”

Without compromising on the product quality, all their products are available to the customers at pocket-friendly prices with Sanitary Napkins costing at a range of 30 to 60 depending upon the size and type of the product.
