Mattel Unveils Plans for Second Adventure Park in Kansas City

Mattel, in collaboration with Epic Resort Destinations, has revealed its intentions to establish a second Mattel Adventure Park at a forthcoming entertainment resort in Bonner Springs, Kansas. The family-friendly themed amusement venue is slated for a 2026 debut, with groundbreaking set to commence later this year.

Mattel Adventure Park Kansas City will mirror the offerings of its Arizona counterpart, Mattel Adventure Park Glendale. Enthusiasts can anticipate adrenaline-pumping rides, such as the Hot Wheels Bone Shaker: The Ultimate Ride and the Hot Wheels Twin Mill Racer roller coasters.

Beyond catering to racing aficionados, the park will feature an array of attractions inspired by beloved Mattel brands. Among these, Thomas & Friends: World of Sodor will boast five interactive experiences, alongside a dedicated indoor play zone. Visitors can immerse themselves in the larger-than-life Barbie Beach House, complete with an interactive retail outlet offering personalized Barbie sets and a hologram-enhanced Barbie Dream Closet Experience. Additionally, the Barbie-themed flying theater and The Barbie Rooftop restaurant and bar promise to captivate guests.

For enthusiasts of Masters of the Universe, the He-Man vs. Skeletor Laser Tag offers an opportunity to engage in epic battles within a sprawling arena modeled after the iconic Castle Grayskull fortress. Meanwhile, a mini-golf course inspired by classic Mattel games like Magic 8 Ball and Pictionary, as well as a colossal UNO climb structure, will provide nostalgic thrills for visitors of all ages.
