Panerai brings 2 special edition watches dedicated to MS Dhoni

Panerai has unveiled two special edition watches dedicated to Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Italian luxury watch brand’s India brand ambassador and cricket icon.

The brand has introduced two special edition watches, including the Luminor GMT – 44 mm (PAM01056) and the Luminor Chrono Flyback – 44 mm (PAM01057), to mark the tribute to the athlete and true connoisseur of the brand. The collaboration between Panerai and MS Dhoni was started in 2018.

The newly launched watches depict the dynamic dual personality of MS Dhoni. He is determined, dependable and confident in the field, while eclectic, impeccable and sociable out of it.

Panerai Luminor Flyback and Panerai Luminor GMT are available in 77 and 251 pieces, respectively. The two novelties are exclusive for Panerai points of sales in India.

The watches’ common features are the green dial which coherently fits Panerai’s DNA and MS Dhoni’s favourite colour, as well as a clear reminder to the Indian flag. The case-back of watches is engraved with MS Dhoni’s signature, his cricketing image and the number 183 that symbolizing his highest score in One-Day international Cricket, making the special edition models a clear tribute to the Indian athlete.
