India based bicycle manufacturer TI Cycles has acquired the license for Ridley Bikes Belgium in a deal that covers India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan and Myanmar. The Ridley Bike line from TI Cycles will be sold at the company's Premium Track & Trail and Ciclo Café stores, as well as other retail outlets. To support the launch of Ridley bikes in India, both companies are planning a number of activations to promote professional bicycling in the region. "With the introduction of Ridley bicycles in India, TI Cycles has taken a distinctive and progressive approach to the Indian market," says Jochim Aerts, chief executive officer, Ridley Bikes. "Moving forward, our focus will be to grow this segment in line with the needs of Indian consumers," he further added.
