Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway introduces Sajid Salim Patel as the new Executive Chef.

With a rich 14 year background in hospitality, Chef Sajid arrives with a treasure trove of culinary skills and inventive approaches, enriching our prestigious establishment.

Chef Sajid, holding a Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Tourism Management Studies and a Post Graduate Diploma in Kitchen Management (OCLD), commenced his distinguished journey in 2008.

His career has flourished through roles at prestigious hotels like Trident Bandra Kurla, Mumbai (The Oberoi Group), JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, and Courtyard and Fairfield by Marriott Bengaluru Outer Ring Road, amassing invaluable expertise along the way.

Before assuming his role at Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway, Chef Sajid held the position of Executive Chef at Courtyard and Fairfield by Marriott Bengaluru Outer Ring Road.

Across his career, he has showcased adept management of comprehensive Food Operations, overseeing aspects like menu design, food preparation, quality control, and adherence to hygiene standards.

Chef's practical culinary skills encompass Japanese cuisine (Sushi Kitchen), Cold Food Preparation, Catering Operations, and expertise in Indian, Western, and Oriental cooking.

Chef Sajid has an array of notable achievements, such as winning the Best Cafe Award in 2016 and the Best Sunday Brunch Award in 2017 from Easy Diner Foodie.

His distinction as the Most Admired Chef in 2022 at the World Leadership Congress Awards stands out, alongside securing a Bronze Medal at the Great Indian Culinary Challenge in Mumbai.

Additionally, he was recognized by IHC London & IIHM as a distinguished Hospitality Personality for his outstanding contributions during his tenure at Courtyard and Fairfield Outer Ring Road.
