Simba ready to play with WC mascot 'Stumpy'

Simba Toys, an arm of Simba Dickie Group of Germany, has recently entered into an exclusive alliance with the International Cricket Council (ICC) to manufacture and merchandise ‘Stumpy’. The Group is one of the world’s largest toy manufacturers and ‘Stumpy’ is the official mascot of the upcoming ICC World Cup 2011. The deal implies Simba Toys having an exclusive license from ICC for manufacturing and merchandising the World Cup mascot and using it for the ‘back to school’ programme. According to sources, more than 50,000 mascots have already been sold and it’s growing every day.
