It is also planning to open 60 internet restaurants throughout the city within the next year and also plans to expand its operations to other cities, including Jeddah, Dammam, and Khobar.
Currently, Wendy’s is present in 19 cities across India with approximately 90 locations, which includes three traditional Wendy’s restaurants in India which Rebel Foods is operating.
In his new position, he will be responsible for overseeing the brand’s strategic planning and capital allocation and working towards creating the corporate vision. He will also serve as the presiding Chief Financial Officer of the brand.
The capital will largely be invested to start operations in the UAE with 11 outlets in different locations and also to boost the retail presence in the regions they are operating.
With the support of Rebel Foods, which owns brands like Faasos and Behrouz Biryani, Zomoz has successfully established itself in 70 locations across 8 major cities, in the past six months.
Rebel Foods Thrasio-style portfolio, termed Rebel Launcher, aims to add 40 to 50 food categories, prioritising missions like premium North Indian, South Indian, Indian Sweets, Sandwiches, amongst others in the coming year.
This announcement comes on the back of Rebel Foods attaining unicorn status in October this year and with a promise to address more customer food missions by adapting a Thrasio like model for food.
Prakash with his expertise will oversee operations across Rebel’s 10 countries while building customer love through customer touchpoints for sustainable growth.
