Reliance Retail to launch its 4G smartphones, VoLTE

The company is also planning to hook up with eCommerce giants such as Flipkart, Snapdeal, Amazon and eBay to push its 4 series of smartphones named 'Earth', 'Water', 'Wind' and 'Fire'.

Reliance Retail, a subsidiary company of Reliance Industries, is all set to launch its 4G VoLTE smartphones by the end of this month. Reliance retail will launch 4 models and will seek support from all its retail partners in the rollout of the group’s 4G mobile phones services.
The company is also planning to hook up with eCommerce giants such as Flipkart, Snapdeal, Amazon and eBay to push its 4 series of smartphones named ‘Earth’, ‘Water’, ‘Wind’ and ‘Fire’.
The smartphones to be introduced in the first phase include the super-premium variant 'Earth 1' and premium variants 'Water 1', 'Water 2' and 'Water 3' and the devices will soon be available at multi-brand outlets and Reliance Retail stores.
'Wind' and 'Fire' series of smartphones is likely to be launched in the second phase. All VoLTE devices of these four series is estimated to range between Rs 4,000 to 25,000.
Reliance Jio Infocomm is a fully-owned 4G telecom services company of Mukesh Ambani-promoted Reliance Industries. It is leveraging Reliance Retail to sell the company's LYF-branded Voice of LTE (VoLTE)-based devices, in addition to those of Lenovo, LG, Micromax and Intex.
