AGP signs for Character Apparel

American Greetings Properties has announced a series of new apparel and accessories collaborations for brands including Care Bears, Strawberry Shortcake and Madballs. Socks and Accessory Brands will create hosiery and accessories for all three brands. The full line will be available at mass and mid-tier retailers across the U.S., with the Madballs range also launching in Canada. AGP has also signed two additional deals to bring the Care Bears brand to junior's apparel and accessories. Junior's apparel label Iron Fist will put their fashion-forward spin on the classic brand in a line expected to hit retail this spring; and Buckle-Down is planning a range of belts, buckles, wallets and accessories that will launch this winter. Both lines will be available in the U.S. and Canada.
