Amazon inks kids licensing deal with Turner India

Beefing up its brand portfolio, Amazon Prime Video has paired up with Turner India to bring a range of Cartoon Network shows to its Indian SVOD service. The content licensing deal will see some of the popular character's from CN's portfolio including Ben 10, Grim Adventures of Billy Mandy, Johnny Bravo, Powerpuff Girls, Dexter’s Laboratory, play on Amazon Prime Video India under the ‘Kids and Family TV’ section. Amazon said in a statement that the kids today are consuming and engaging with their favourite content across diverse screens such as computers and mobile screens. Turner has been at the forefront of providing engaging experiences to kids both on TV and beyond and the collaboration with Amazon Prime Video reaffirms Turner’s commitment to engage with its fans anytime, according to the statement.
