Rovio Mobile's Angry Birds will soon be seen in a new avatar. Mattel is set to launch one of the most popular mobile games as a board game. Joining them is Dream Theatre which has bagged the merchandising rights for Angry Birds and will soon be introducing merchandise like T-shirts, plush toys and accessories in the Indian market. The merchandise is expected to fall within the economical range of Rs 500. However, the firm is also considering launching high-end merchandise based on the Angry Birds franchise. Angry Birds is one of the most downloaded paid applications on the iTunes network.
