Ben Sherman Inks Licensing Deal with BSI Apparel for Menswear Expansion

Ben Sherman, the contemporary menswear brand, has entered into a new licensing agreement with BSI Apparel Limited, a subsidiary of Broadgate1960, the parent company of Crew Clothing Company, Saltrock Surfwear, and Pringle of Scotland. This partnership will focus on the production and distribution of men's apparel and tailored clothing under the Ben Sherman brand.

Marquee Brands, the owner of Ben Sherman, stated that this collaboration will entail significant investment in the menswear brand. The goal is to accelerate the expansion of full-price retail operations in physical stores throughout the UK while optimizing growth across Ben Sherman's UK e-commerce, retail, and wholesale segments.

The sustained investment will also emphasize key global marketing initiatives and showcase innovations in design, new product launches, and the brand's unique DNA.

Tim Reid, Executive VP of Fashion and Lifestyle at Marquee Brands said, "We are thrilled to announce the agreement with BSI Apparel Ltd. As a top-tier partner, they will continue to uphold the brand vision and high standards while investing in strengthening our UK retail footprint and operations, maximizing our e-commerce channel, and building on key wholesale business opportunities."

Reid also highlighted Ben Sherman's prominent presence in menswear and its track record of successful partnerships and product collaborations with renowned brands. He anticipates a positive global response to the collaboration with BSI Apparel Ltd in the coming years.

BSI Apparel is set to become a central licensing and operating partner for Ben Sherman, responsible for the production and distribution of men's apparel and tailored clothing to the brand's global network of distributors.

Michael Shina, the founder of BSI Apparel Ltd shared, "We're extremely excited to bring Ben Sherman apparel on board. It's an honor and privilege to join forces with Marquee Brands to shape a notable name with a strong British heritage and a fresh approach to the modern menswear landscape."

Shina also acknowledged Ben Sherman's rich history and its ongoing commitment to innovation and iconic style, making it a beloved brand among fashion enthusiasts worldwide.

This announcement coincides with Ben Sherman's 60th-anniversary celebration and the launch of two highly anticipated limited-edition collaborations as part of the Ben Sherman Global Artist Foundry program. These collaborations involve talented musicians, including the indie-rock band The Sherlocks and Pauli Lovejoy, drummer and musical director for Harry Styles' recent Love on Tour concerts, marking an exciting chapter in the brand's storied history.
