Converse and Isabel Marant Join Forces to Launch Exclusive Chuck 70 Wedge Collection

Global footwear brand Converse and iconic Parisian designer Isabel Marant have come together to release a capsule collection. The collaboration fuses Marant’s signature Parisian cool with Converse’s classic and street-savvy aesthetic, creating a new range of footwear that balances both high fashion and casual elegance.

Isabel Marant, known for her spontaneous, independent style, brings her pioneering spirit to the Converse lineup. With her distinct blend of high and low fashion, Marant has consistently pushed boundaries in the fashion world, and this collaboration reflects that philosophy. The capsule will spotlight the Chuck 70 Wedge, a new silhouette inspired by Marant’s influence on the sneaker wedge trend of the 2010s, alongside her take on the iconic Chuck 70 High Top and Chuck 70 Ox Low Top.

The collection is highlighted by the Chuck 70 Wedge, which features a hidden 2.5-inch wedge heel integrated into the Chuck 70’s upper and midsole design. Marant’s influence is also clear in the frayed cotton and polyester Jacquard upper, multi-colored pinstripes, and translucent outsoles. Each shoe features Marant’s logo in a raw-edge canvas overlay, seamlessly blending Converse’s signature look with her fashion DNA.

The launch colorways for the Chuck 70 Wedge will include Vanilla White and Raven, while the Chuck 70 High Top will debut in Raven, and the Chuck 70 Ox will be available in Vanilla White.

Converse and Isabel Marant’s limited-edition collection will be available for purchase starting from September 12, 2024, on Converse.in and from September 13, 2024, on select partner platforms, including VegNonVeg and Limited Edt. Prices for the collection will range from RS. 11,499 for the Chuck 70 Ox to RS. 15,499 for the Chuck 70 Wedge.

This collaboration also marks the beginning of a new era for Converse's inline heel offerings. Following the release of the limited-edition capsule, Converse plans to introduce the Chuck Taylor All-Star Wedge—a classic Chuck design with a 2.5-inch hidden heel—on October 12, 2024. This inline collection will be available in black and white and sold through Converse.in and partner retailers.
