Crunchyroll, in collaboration with Aniplex, has revealed plans for the global premiere of the anime adaptation of the Korean manhwa series, "Solo Leveling," on Crunchyroll's streaming platform starting January 6th. This highly anticipated release will be accessible to viewers in 200 territories worldwide.

The anime adaptation of "Solo Leveling" is based on the immensely popular Korean web novel penned by Chugong, later transformed into a webtoon and manhwa in 2018, featuring illustrations by DUBU. In addition to streaming the series, Crunchyroll holds the consumer products rights for "Solo Leveling" on a global scale, excluding Asia.

Anna Songco Adamian, Vice President, Global Consumer Products, Crunchyroll said, “‘Solo Leveling’ is an epic tale of growth and resilience where Hunters battle larger than life monsters, connecting the real world with the realm of magic. Crunchyroll is excited to represent the global consumer products rights for the series worldwide outside of Asia (but including India). The upcoming anime is based on a globally beloved Korean Webtoon and title will lend itself particularly well to apparel and collectibles as the anime community loves to wear their fandom on their sleeve and outwardly display their passion for their favorite series. We do find that anime fans also enjoy out-of-the-box collaborations, including food, beverage, fashion and QSRs. We’re excited for fans to start streaming ‘Solo Leveling’ in January, and we look forward to presenting anime fans with licensing partnerships around the series.”
