Disney announces Vanessa Morrison as Chief of Streaming

Disney has named Vanessa Morrison as the President of streaming at Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Production.

In her new role, Morrison will be in charge of the development and production of Disney+ film content at Disney Studios’ live-action and 20th Century Studios divisions. She will be reporting to Sean Bailey, president, Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Production.

Morrison most recently worked as President of Fox Family after serving as President of 20th Century Fox Animation for 10 years.

Additionally, exec Philip Steuer is promoted to President, Production at Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Production. Also, Randi Hiller has been promoted to External Vice President, Casting; and Steve Asbell has been appointed President of Production at 20th Century Studios.
