Expanding its licensing presence, Entertainment One (eOne) has launched its hit preschool property PJ Masks in the Asia Pacific and Latin America. Also, the brand has secured new licensing and merchandising partners in the U.K. and Australia. PJ Masks merchandise will start rolling out across the Asia-Pacific region next month, led by the Just Play global master toy line. Bradford License India has signed on to represent the brand in India; Dianos will manage consumer products in Korea, while Medialink will handle the brand in mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Southeast Asia. Just Play’s master toy line for PJ Masks will also launch throughout Latin America from August 2017 through Bandai in Mexico, DTC in Brazil and Elite in the remaining Latin American territories.
The brand will focus on its core categories including toys, dress-up, publishing, partyware and back-to-school.
A number of new partners have joined the PJ Masks L&M program in the U.K. including VMC for accessories, Amscan for dress-up, MV Sports for wheeled toys, Worlds Apart for homewares, Dreamtex for bedding and bedroom accessories, Spearmark for lighting, Sambro for stationery and Kinnerton for confectionery. In Australia, where PJ Masks merchandise is slated for release in July, new licensing partners include Parragon with publishing, Hunter Products with a CrazArt range and wheeled toys, MJM with games, puzzles and stationery, The Entertainment Store with character appearances, Zak Australia with tableware, Caprice with apparel and Amscan with partyware. Commenting on the announcement, Andrew Carley, Head of Global Licensing at eOne, said, “The response to PJ Masks around the world has been incredible.
