Fossil Group has announed a global licensing agreement with one of the most recognizable car brands in the world: BMW. In collaboration BMW, Fossil Group will design and manufacture BMW-branded watches and smartwatches through 2023. “BMW is one of the most iconic brands in the world. We look forward to bringing our watch design expertise and smartwatch capabilities to BMW enthusiasts around the world,” said Kosta Kartsotis, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Fossil Group. The BMW Group agreement is the first automotive brand license for Fossil Group. New accessories will be introduced in 2019 and sold globally in more than 4,000 BMW retail channels, as well as throughout a variety of key retailers in Fossil Group’s extensive global network. Fossil Group, Inc. is a global design, marketing, distribution and innovation company specializing in lifestyle accessories including fashion watches, jewelry, handbags, small leather goods and wearables. Boasting of an extensive wholesale distribution network across 150 countries and 500 retail locations, the company owns Fossil, Michele, Misfit, Relic, Skagen and Zodiac, and licensed brands, Armani Exchange, Chaps, Diesel, DKNY, Emporio Armani, Kate Spade New York, Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Puma and Tory Burch.
