Funky Monkeys Partners with ace Turtle to Open Indoor Play Areas at Toys“R”Us Stores

ace Turtle, a leading technology-native retail company in India, and Funky Monkeys, the country’s premier indoor play center, have joined forces to introduce Indoor Play Areas at Toys“R”Us stores nationwide. The inaugural collaboration between Funky Monkeys and ace turtle will debut within the expansive 12,500 sq ft. Toys“R”Us flagship store situated at Linking Road, Bandra in Mumbai.

The newly established space will highlight the distinctive offerings of each brand, ensuring that children visiting the area have an unforgettable experience from the moment they step inside! Funky Monkeys will inaugurate its play center on the top floor of the Toys“R”Us flagship store, presenting its signature play and birthday party experiences for children. Spanning multiple floors and boasting a diverse selection of international and Indian toy brands, the Toys“R”Us flagship store, inaugurated in December 2023, has revolutionized the toy shopping experience. With the inclusion of the Funky Monkeys Play Area, families and children can anticipate an enhanced experiential shopping experience within the store.

Funky Monkeys Play Centers cater exclusively to children aged 6 months to 14 years, offering hands-on discovery and learning through spontaneous and unstructured 'Free Play', combined with elements of fun and entertainment. Each center features two play zones – a Toddler Zone and a Junior Zone, providing a unique environment for children to 'Play and Learn', alongside a full-service café and birthday party area.

In 2023, ace turtle unveiled the first Toys“R”Us store in India in Hyderabad, followed by the flagship Toys“R”Us store in Mumbai, both of which received an overwhelming response from customers. Ace turtle intends to expand the retail presence of Toys“R”Us to other cities in India this year, while customers nationwide continue to shop for their favorite toys from the online store.
