LOVETC Launches Alter Ego Makeup Collection Featuring Tamannaah Bhatia

LOVETC, the colour cosmetics brand from Birla Cosmetics, has introduced its new ‘Alter Ego’ collection through a campaign featuring brand ambassador Tamannaah Bhatia. The campaign explores makeup as a form of self-expression, encouraging consumers to embrace different aspects of their personalities.

Centred on the question, 'Who wore who?', the campaign uses a mystery-led approach to build anticipation around the new collection. The rollout began on LOVETC's Instagram account, where a series of changes, including a distorted logo, an updated bio and fragmented posts, offered initial clues about the upcoming launch.

The brand also shared cropped product labels and partially revealed visuals to hint at the six-product collection before its official unveiling.

The 48-hour build-up culminated in a campaign film featuring Tamannaah Bhatia. The film brought together the clues distributed across social media and revealed the ‘Alter Ego’ collection.

To extend the campaign's reach beyond digital platforms, LOVETC has also introduced outdoor advertising (OOH) placements in Mumbai, alongside airport advertisements in Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru. Cinema advertising has been rolled out in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru and Hyderabad, supported by digital and social media promotions.

The ‘Alter Ego’ collection takes inspiration from 1990s beauty trends and comprises six products featuring bold colours, metallic finishes and defined makeup looks. The range reflects the collection's focus on experimenting with different beauty styles and using cosmetics to express contrasting moods and identities.

Through its latest campaign, LOVETC combines influencer participation, digital storytelling and traditional advertising formats to introduce its new collection to consumers across key Indian markets.

Nuvah Partners with Barkha Singh to Strengthen Brand and Product Strategy

Nuvah, an India-based online-first women's footwear brand, has appointed actress and digital creator Barkha Singh as its Chief Creative Officer. In her new role, Singh will work with the company's founder and CEO, Avni Jain, to shape its creative direction across product design, brand communication, visual storytelling and cultural expression.

The appointment comes as Nuvah looks to strengthen its positioning in the women's footwear market by addressing the demand for products that combine style and comfort. The brand's product range incorporates its proprietary Steady-Form footbed and patent-pending Style-Switch technology, which allows users to interchange heels and create multiple looks with a single pair of footwear.

Singh's responsibilities will extend beyond brand communication to include creative direction and product development. The company aims to bring her understanding of fashion, entertainment, and contemporary consumer preferences into its product design and brand strategy.

Singh has appeared in several film, television and OTT projects, including Criminal Justice, Masaba Masaba, Engineering Girls, Please Find Attached, and Lafangey. Alongside acting, she has established a presence as a digital creator, producing content across fashion, travel and lifestyle.

Her association with the brand follows her recognition as Style Icon of the Year – Contemporary Actor at the ELLE Style Awards. Nuvah footwear has also featured in the second episode of Prime Video's fashion makeover show We Got You Girl, hosted by Singh alongside Prachi Shevgaonkar.

Avni Jain, Founder & CEO, Nuvah said, “When we started Nuvah, we wanted to challenge a compromise women have been expected to accept for far too long: that looking good must mean being uncomfortable. Barkha brings an intuitive understanding of the women we are designing for. She understands fashion and culture, but more importantly, she recognizes how women today want to move through the world with ease, confidence, and individuality. Her creative instinct and perspective will be invaluable as we guide Nuvah into its next chapter.”

Barkha Singh, Chief Creative Officer, Nuvah added, “What drew me to Nuvah was not just the idea behind the brand, but also the energy, clarity, and experience Avni brings to the table. I’ve always believed that women shouldn’t have to compromise on how they look, feel, or move, and Nuvah is built around this very thought. I’m excited to be part of a brand that approaches a real, everyday need with such a strong creative vision. For me, this role goes beyond communication; it’s about being involved in the creative thinking and product journey, and helping build something that feels relevant, beautiful, and genuinely useful to women today.”

Founded by Avni Jain, Nuvah was established to address the discomfort associated with wearing heels. Drawing on her background in engineering, consulting, investing, and consumer businesses, Jain developed the brand around the idea of incorporating comfort into footwear design from the outset.

Tanishq Showcases Adhyantara Festive Jewellery Collection with Triptii Dimri

Tanishq has unveiled a campaign for its latest jewellery collection, Adhyantara, featuring actress Triptii Dimri. Developed by TBWA\Lintas, the campaign takes inspiration from celestial elements such as the sun, moon, and stars, translating these motifs into contemporary jewellery designs.

The campaign film unfolds at a campsite beneath a starry sky, where Dimri sits outdoors as the song ‘Badan Pe Sitare Lapete Hue’ plays in the background. As she gestures towards the sky, blue, pink, and gold lights appear to come together to reveal an Adhyantara necklace, bringing the collection's cosmic theme into focus.

Pelki Tshering, Chief Marketing Officer, Tanishq said, “At Tanishq, we believe the festive season is a time to embrace wonder, celebrate individuality and find beauty in the extraordinary. With Adhyantara, we set out to explore the infinite wonder of the cosmos and bring it closer to the woman who inspires us. Drawing from the brilliance of distant stars and the poetry of celestial forms, our designers have translated the beauty and mystery of the universe into contemporary jewellery, bringing together intricate Indian craftsmanship with a distinctly modern sensibility. The campaign brings this creative vision to life, with Triptii Dimri embodying the spirit of a woman who is curious, imaginative, and unafraid to explore beyond the familiar. Through Adhyantara, we invite her to step into a world where celestial inspiration meets contemporary expression, and where the extraordinary becomes a celebration of her own individuality.”

Triptii Dimri shared, “Being associated with Tanishq has always felt special to me because of the way the brand brings together tradition, craftsmanship and a contemporary sense of expression. What drew me to Adhyantara was its connection with the cosmos and the sense of wonder that comes from simply looking up at the sky. I love how the collection translates that vastness, light, and beauty into jewellery in such an intricate and contemporary way. Each piece has its own character, and I especially love how Adhyantara allows festive jewellery to feel personal and expressive.”

Arpan Bhattacharyya, Executive Director and Head of Creative, South, TBWA\Lintas stated, “Adhyantara gave us an opportunity to look at the world of Tanishq through a more wondrous lens. Since the jewellery itself draws inspiration from the cosmos, we wanted the film to inhabit that same universe of wonder- bringing alive its mystery, beauty and infinite possibilities, while translating the vastness of the cosmos into something deeply human, intimate and magical.”

The Adhyantara collection features more than 100 designs across four categories: Glass Kundan, Plain Gold, Plain Jewellery with Inspired Gemstones and Open Polki. The range includes necklaces, bangles, finger rings, and mangalsutras in 18kt and 22kt gold.

Sparx Names Tamannaah and Lakshya Lalwani Brand Ambassadors for New Campaign

Sparx, the footwear brand owned by Relaxo Footwears, has introduced its ‘Greatest of Today’ (G.O.T.) campaign featuring actors Tamannaah and Lakshya Lalwani as brand ambassadors. The campaign aims to strengthen the brand's engagement with young consumers while promoting its latest collection of sneakers and sports shoes.

Developed by Mudra, part of BBDO Group India, the campaign draws inspiration from the popular expression GOAT, or Greatest of All Time, and reinterprets it as Greatest of Today. The concept encourages consumers to focus on the present and make the most of everyday experiences rather than waiting for a defining achievement. Tamannaah and Lakshya bring their individual personalities to the campaign, which connects Sparx's footwear range with everyday fashion and active lifestyles.

Gaurav Kumaar Dua, Co-CEO and Whole-Time Director, Relaxo Footwears said, “For today’s generation, greatness is not necessarily about a distant achievement or a defining milestone. It is about what you choose to do, experience and express in the moment. With ‘Greatest of Today’, Sparx wanted to build a thought that feels relevant to the culture and mindset of young India today. Our latest collection complements this proposition with sneakers that bring a strong style expression and versatile sports shoes designed for an active, on-the-go lifestyle. Tamannaah and Lakshya help bring this thought to life through their own individual perspectives.”

Chetan Soni, Senior Vice President and Head of Business at Mudra shared, “The brief was never to simply make Sparx look younger, but to understand Gen Z’s relationship with style, identity and ambition. The shoe is the starting point, but the real proposition is the attitude to stand out and make every moment count. For us, G.O.T. is more than a campaign; it marks the beginning of a new identity and cultural role for Sparx.”

The campaign will be rolled out across television, print, digital platforms and outdoor media. It combines the G.O.T. brand platform with Sparx's latest footwear collection, which includes sneakers for everyday styling and sports shoes designed for active use.

Mi Arcus and Papa Don't Preach to Launch Premium Kidswear Collection on October 12
Mi Arcus and Papa Don't Preach to Launch Premium Kidswear Collection on October 12

Kidswear brand Mi Arcus has partnered with designer label Papa Don't Preach to introduce a premium festive collection for children, marking the entry of both brands into new categories. The collection will launch on October 12 across Mi Arcus stores, its official website and e-commerce platforms, including Nykaa Fashion and Myntra.

The collaboration combines Mi Arcus's focus on comfort and everyday wearability with Papa Don't Preach's distinctive use of colour, playful motifs and bold designs. The collection aims to address the limited availability of designer-inspired ethnic wear for children at more accessible price points.

The idea emerged from a gap in the children's festive wear market, where custom-made designer outfits can be expensive, time-consuming to produce, and difficult to standardise in terms of fit. Meanwhile, more affordable alternatives may not always offer the design details sought by parents. The collaboration also reflects the preferences of millennial parents, who increasingly consider colour, aesthetics and individual style when shopping for their children's clothing.

For Mi Arcus, the partnership marks its first entry into ethnic wear, while it is Papa Don't Preach's first collaboration with a kidswear brand and its first collection designed specifically for children.

Preeti Chugh, Co-founder, Mi Arcus said, "Most good ethnic wear for kids today is custom-made and super expensive, and designer labels are simply overpriced for children. We saw that gap and asked ourselves how we could give parents a quality product at a more accessible price. This collaboration with Papa Don't Preach is our answer: festive dressing for kids doesn't have to be fussy or forced. It can be bold, expressive, and cool. Today's millennial parents want their children to reflect their own aesthetic, so we built our first ethnic collection around colour, whimsical creatures and 100 percent comfort. These are pieces kids can actually move in, and wear well beyond one occasion."

The collection offers a contemporary interpretation of festive dressing, with pieces designed to be styled across different celebrations and occasions. The range includes lehengas, jackets and blouses, alongside Western silhouettes featuring Indian motifs. These styles provide alternatives to conventional ethnic outfits, including traditional kurta pyjamas.

The designs incorporate whimsical motifs such as unicorns and pomegranates, alongside bold colours, unisex prints and soft fabrics. Minimal embellishment is a key element of the collection, keeping the garments lightweight and allowing children greater freedom of movement.

The collection also includes coordinated footwear and bags, enabling consumers to put together complete festive looks. By combining designer-inspired aesthetics with practical clothing features, Mi Arcus and Papa Don't Preach aim to offer an alternative to conventional children's occasionwear while catering to parents seeking distinctive designs and comfort.

Killer Jeans Features Meezaan Jafri in Genes of India Denim Campaign

Killer Jeans, one of India's early homegrown denim brands, has introduced its Genes of India campaign featuring actor Meezaan Jafri. The campaign highlights the role of denim in everyday Indian fashion and explores how consumers across different regions, cities, and generations interpret the category through their individual styles.

Denim has become a widely adopted fashion staple in India, with consumers incorporating it into their wardrobes for work, travel, social gatherings and celebrations. Through Genes of India, Killer Jeans aims to showcase this diversity, positioning denim as a common element of Indian fashion, from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.

As the campaign's face, Meezaan Jafri represents a younger consumer base that increasingly views denim as an expression of personal style rather than simply casual wear. His association highlights contemporary fits and styling choices influencing younger shoppers.

“Denim is something almost everyone in India relates to, whatever their background or city. What I like about Genes of India is that it doesn’t ask people to dress a certain way. It recognises that everyone wears denim differently, and that is what makes it ours," stated Meezaan Jafri.

As part of its current product offering, Killer Jeans has introduced Neo Flare, a contemporary interpretation of the classic flared denim silhouette. The fit remains slim around the hips, thighs, and knees before widening below the knee, creating an elongated profile. The style is designed to complement different footwear options, including sneakers and boots.

The collection also includes Selvedge Denim, distinguished by its texture, finish, and craftsmanship, alongside the brand's fabric innovations. K-Tech Denim offers a lightweight feel, SoftPro Denim focuses on a softer texture, and Cool Core Denim is designed to provide comfort across changing weather conditions. These offerings reflect the brand's focus on combining fit, functionality and comfort with contemporary denim design.

Hemant Jain, Joint Managing Director, Kewal Kiran Clothing Limited shared, “Denim has always been something I’ve felt people can make their own. In India, that feels even more interesting because the way you wear it changes from city to city, from generation to generation, and from person to person. That’s what drew me to Genes of India; it’s not about one definition of denim, but about all the different ways we style it, live in it, and make it part of who we are”

Killer Jeans also emphasises Indian manufacturing, with a focus on developing products suited to domestic consumers through attention to fit, comfort and finish. Through the campaign, the brand aims to highlight its product development and manufacturing capabilities while contributing to the growth of India's domestic denim market.

Tata Consumer Products' Smith & Jones Focuses on Product Quality in New Campaign

Smith & Jones, the packaged food brand owned by Tata Consumer Products, has introduced a new advertising campaign featuring actor Rasika Dugal. The campaign aims to educate consumers about the key differences to consider when selecting ginger garlic paste.

Developed by creative agency The Womb, the campaign uses a visual demonstration to highlight the difference between thick, consistent ginger garlic paste and a watery alternative. It seeks to address the growing number of products in the category and the limited consumer awareness of the factors that distinguish one product from another.

The campaign centres on the message, ‘Ho Gaya Na Paste Ka Paste Aur Paani Ka Paani,’ emphasising consistency as a key consideration when choosing ginger garlic paste.

Deepika Bhan, President, Packaged Foods, Capital Foods & Soulfull, Tata Consumer Products said, "Trying new recipes and experimenting with different ingredients can sometimes feel intimidating, but with Smith & Jones, we want to make it super simple. This campaign reflects the same belief"

Heval Patel, COO, The Womb shared, ‘'Smith and Jones is the ginger garlic paste category leader. Today, when the category is treated as a commodity, there was an opportunity for Smith and Jones to spark a conversation about how to identify good ginger garlic paste that can deliver on rich and consistent taste. The film, which falls under the brand promise of 'Taste Gajab', illustrates how the right ginger garlic paste provides the right base for making incredibly tasty dishes.'’

Through the campaign, Smith & Jones aims to reinforce its positioning in the ginger garlic paste category by drawing attention to product consistency and its role in everyday cooking.

Better Nutrition Onboards Varun Dhawan as Investor and Brand Ambassador
Better Nutrition Onboards Varun Dhawan as Investor and Brand Ambassador

Actor Varun Dhawan has invested in Better Nutrition, a biofortified staples brand, and has also come on board as the company’s brand ambassador. With this move, he joins Olympic medalist PV Sindhu, who is already associated with the brand.

Dhawan’s association with Better Nutrition stems from his growing interest in agriculture after acquiring farmland and gaining firsthand experience with soil health, seed quality, and crop production. As part of the collaboration, his farm will be developed into a biofortified farm in partnership with the company.

Better Nutrition offers a range of staple food products, including atta, rice, dal, and millets, which the company says contain up to twice the amount of iron, zinc, and other essential micronutrients compared to conventional varieties. The brand uses biofortified seeds, soil science practices, and farm-level nutrient testing, including X-ray fluorescence (XRF) technology, to assess and validate nutrient levels in crops.

Varun Dhawan said, “We’re working together to make my farm biofortified. And yeah, Better Nutrition is my brand now too. I really like the mission behind it, and I want to be part of that journey. You’ll be seeing a lot more of me with my brand. So this is quite personal for me.”

Prateek Rastogi, Co-founder and CEO of Better Nutrition, said, “We started Better Nutrition with a simple belief: if the food Indians eat every day can be more nutritious, that is where we should start. But making that happen requires much more than putting a claim on a packet. It starts with the seed, the soil, and the farmer, and then requires testing and validation all the way through to the food. Varun understood that very quickly. His decision to invest in the company and turn his own farm into a biofortified farm shows how deeply he connects with the mission.”

According to the company, Dhawan’s involvement in biofortified farming has also sparked interest among other landowners, leading to inquiries from farm owners looking to explore similar agricultural practices.

To support wider adoption, Better Nutrition has launched applications for its Biofortified Farm Programme, allowing interested farm owners to submit their details for assessment and potential participation.

The investment and partnership mark a significant step for Better Nutrition as it continues to promote nutrient-rich food production through science-backed farming practices, while expanding awareness around biofortified agriculture in India.

Myntra Launches ‘Folks in the Building’ Micro-Drama Series Featuring Popular Digital Creators
Myntra Launches ‘Folks in the Building’ Micro-Drama Series Featuring Popular Digital Creators

Fashion and lifestyle e-commerce platform Myntra has unveiled ‘Folks in the Building’, a new micro-drama series that brings together well-known internet personalities as fictional neighbors living in the same residential building.

The four-episode series stars Anuj Gupta, Sameha Shams (Sheena), Shivani Gupta, Varun Grover, Anubhavi, Ankita Sahigal, and Gulshan Grover, who appear as exaggerated versions of themselves within a shared fictional universe.

Instead of introducing entirely new characters, the format leverages the familiarity audiences already have with these creators and personalities. Across four films, each approximately two minutes long, the residents find themselves in everyday situations that lead to humorous, unexpected, and interconnected interactions.

A Myntra delivery executive named Vishal serves as a recurring character throughout the series, moving between apartments and becoming a common thread that links the stories together.

Monalisa Panda, Head of Social, Myntra said, "Micro-drama has become one of the most exciting formats on the internet, and we've seen firsthand how much audiences enjoy stories they can binge in minutes. With Folks in the Building, we started with personalities our audiences already know and put them in one building, which gave us a world that feels instantly familiar and has plenty of room for chaos and comedy. Vishal, our delivery executive, ties it all together, because the brand should be part of the story and not an interruption to it. This is just the first floor, and we're excited to see which residents, crossovers and storylines audiences want next."

Raghav Bagai, Co-founder, SW Network shared, “Micro-drama is changing the way audiences discover and consume stories, but for brands, the opportunity goes beyond simply adopting the format. With Folks in the Building, the challenge was to write stories strong enough to hold attention in just two minutes, while making the brand feel like a natural part of the world. The idea was to put entertainment first and let Myntra become part of the story rather than an interruption to it.”

Jaunty, Producer and Director at Banana in a Suit (BIAS Studios) added, “From a production standpoint, Folks in the Building was exciting because we weren’t just shooting four short films; we were building one cohesive world. Bringing distinct personalities together meant keeping the filmmaking fast, energetic and character-driven. With the limited runtime of micro-drama, every shot and beat had to count. Working with Myntra gave us the opportunity to explore that balance of pace, character and storytelling, and we see this as just the beginning for the format.”

The initial four episodes are intended to establish a broader fictional universe, creating opportunities for additional characters, storylines, and crossover interactions in future installments.
