Toys “R” Us has recently selected Neil Friedman, former president of Mattel Brands, to serve as president of its U.S. business. Friedman was with Mattel Inc, world’s largest toy maker, for almost 14 years. Toys“R”Us, Inc. is the world’s leading dedicated toy and juvenile products retailer, offering a differentiated shopping experience through its family of brands. Friedman will be overseeing the merchandising, marketing, store operations, global sourcing and product development businesses, and allocation for the chain’s 866 US stores and online business. He will report to Gerald Storch, Chairman and Chief Executive, Toys “R”Us.
