BBC Studios has unveiled the inaugural collection of official global character toys for the beloved animated series "Bluey" in South Korea through a partnership with the official distributor for the region, 'Sonokong.' The launch encompasses six enchanting "Bluey" toys, setting the stage for a comprehensive expansion of "Bluey" content and merchandise in South Korea, including the release of "Bluey" preschool books, toy bundles, and "Bluey: The Videogame."
The product line comprises a diverse array of "Bluey" family and friends figures, the Heeler 4WD Family Car, and the endearing "My Best Friend Bluey" plush toy. Additionally, the launch introduces "The Bluey Family Home Play Set," an intricately designed replica of the Heeler House.
Sophia Spinelli, Vice President of Brands and Marketing at BBC Studios said, "We are truly thrilled to introduce these wonderful toys, bringing 'Bluey' to life for South Korean audiences for the first time. The 'Bluey' animated series has already found a place in South Korean households, and we intend to offer a range of content and products that facilitate learning through play in the future. We have witnessed success in Asia, with 'Bluey' already making its mark in Singapore. We envision endless possibilities, not only for 'Bluey' but also for a broad spectrum of content from BBC Studios, across various markets in the region."
