Comic Con India brings Archie & The Riverdale Gang to India

Comic Con India, a comic-based convention held across several countries, has signed up a unique licensing deal With Archie Comics to bring Archie & The Riverdale Gang to India. Comic Con India & Archie Comics are joining forces to provide all comic con fans a limited edition Archie comic with a an exclusive city specific cover. As per the agreement, each pass holder to Comic Con India Shows this year will receive the exclusive edition comic with a customized city cover, which is one of its collaboration ever done before. Jatin Varma, Founder, Comic Con India, said, “One of the first comics I ever read, was an Archie and millions of comic book fans in India have a similar story to share. Archie comics are considered as Indian as some of our local comics. Therefore, I am extremely excited to collaborate with Archie Publications to start of this unique collaboration.” From visiting the Charminar in Hyderabad, to shooting a Bollywood film at the Gateway of India in Mumbai or playing cricket at the iconic Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, to touring Delhi...the gang from Riverdale will be everywhere. With that in mind, we're honored and excited to kick off this relationship with Comic Con India, which we hope to see continue for years to come.” In the month of August, Comic Con India announced the dates of Comic Con Shows 2017 for Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad! Hyderabad Comic Con 14th-15th October; Mumbai Comic Con 11th -12th November, Bengaluru Comic Con 2nd -3rd December & Delhi Comic Con 15th - 17th December.
