Disney launches Color by Disney app

Adult coloring books are all the rage with art licensing, and adding a digital aspect to it now Disney has released its own take on the genre by launching the Color by Disney mobile application. The app lets budding or aspiring artists practice their skills by coloring in templates featuring popular characters and scenes from Disney and Pixar and films. Initially there are hundreds of designs available including the ones from more recent movies like “Frozen” and “Moana,” as well as classics like “The Lion King” and “The Little Mermaid,” along with Pixar titles like “Brave” and “Monsters, Inc.” Color by Disney is being marketed just to cater to the adult crowd, with the company emphasizing on coloring apps as stress busters. This claim has already led the App Store to fill with coloring applications in recent months. Also Vogue has earlier launch its colouring book for adults. Disney has released Color by Disney, the latest app that aims to build on the recent trend of adult coloring books. The app itself is free, however one can pay to subscribe on the US App store for unlimited access to the Disney art collection. The app is available on the Apple App Store, Google Play and the Windows App Store.
