BBC Earth has partnered with water bottle maker S’well for an exclusive line inspired by BBC’s natural history programming. The collection includes four S’well bottles capturing the beauty of the planet with imagery from BBC Earth series. Details on each bottle include:

  • Bottle 1: A display of the vibrant Northern Lights over New Hampshire’s Chocorua Lake;
  • Bottle 2: The Antarctic, where emperor penguins heroically endure extreme conditions to bring their babies into the world;
  • Bottle 3: Australia’s magnificent green turtle maintains the growth of lush seagrass within the Green Island ecosystem; and
  • Bottle 4: Imagery from BBC Earth takes you beneath the waves.

“Following on from the broadcast of Blue Planet II and the surge in public concern about single use plastics, it feels right that BBC Earth and S’well are coming together to help bring more sustainable product choices to the consumer: we are absolutely delighted to have them on board,” says Anita Majhu, senior licensing manager, BBC Studios. Each bottle carries 500 ml and features triple-layered, vacuum-insulated construction, which was created to keep beverages cold for 24 hours or hot for 12 hours. The exclusive collection is available at John Lewis & Partners throughout the U.K. “At S’well, our mission since our launch in 2010 has always been focused on ridding the world of plastic bottles by giving consumers a stylish and innovative alternative,” says Sarah Kauss, founder and chief executive officer, S’well. “We are thrilled to partner with a brand that has done so much to capture the beauty of the natural world and bring awareness about what we must do to protect it, and we’re hopeful about creating even more positive change through our efforts together.” BBC Earth and S’well will expand their partnership into 2020 with further collaborations.
