FIREFLY REVEALS MASKED REPUBLIC'S LICENSING LINE
Marvel Entertainment and SiriusXM have signed a multiyear deal that will see Marvel create exclusive podcasts for SiriusXM and Pandora. The deal spans several years and includes multiple podcasts, unscripted original series as well original scripted series based on Marvel characters. Multiple Marvel podcasts will debut each week beginning in 2020 on SiriusXM and Pandora. Four new scripted series, based on Wolverine, Hawkeye, Black Widow and Star-Lord, will be released, and a fifth series that will see all four team up.
Unscripted podcasts, podcasts dedicated to Marvel franchises and talk shows are also planned.
The deal will also include themed live events. SiriusXM subscribers with streaming access will be able to listen to Marvel podcasts at home on smart TVs, Amazon Alexa devices, Apple TV, Sony PlayStation, Roku, Sonos speakers and more. Pandora users can also listen via Pandora mobile app for iOS and Android.
