Hasbro & Mattel Forge Collab to Produce Co-Branded Toys and Games for Major Film Releases

Two leading toy manufacturers, Hasbro and Mattel, have joined forces through multi-year licensing agreements to create co-branded toys and games in conjunction with their highly anticipated theatrical releases this summer.

With a shared vision of expanding their presence in the entertainment industry, Hasbro will introduce Barbie-themed Monopoly games, set to hit the market in the fall of 2023, while Mattel will develop Transformers-themed Uno games scheduled for release later this year. Additionally, early 2024 will witness the launch of Transformers-branded Hot Wheels vehicles.

This collaboration between Hasbro and Mattel takes place amidst the backdrop of significant film releases this summer. Paramount's Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, slated for June 9, 2023, and Warner Bros.' Barbie, scheduled for July 21, 2023, serve as the catalysts for these joint ventures between the toy manufacturers.
