Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan has invested Rs 6 crore in Bengaluru-based fitness startup Cure.Fit that is also the fitness licensee for actor's brand HRX. Last year, Cure.Fit had signed Hrithik Roshan as its brand ambassador for a whopping Rs 100 crore, assumed to be one of the largest endorsement deal signed by an Indian startup. The five-year association includes the actor’s equity stake in the company in lieu of cash investment, promotions and royalty from his personal brand HRX’s specialized workout plan. According to the MCA filings, Hrithik invested directly in Cure.Fit and also through his entity, Extreme Brands. Recently Cure.fit has also announced an exclusive fitness program under PROWL, an active lifestyle brand co-created by Mojostar and Tiger Shroff. With presence in Bengaluru, NCR, and Mumbai, Cure.Fit is a brainchild of ex Flipkart executives Mukesh Bansal and Ankit Nagori. Till date, teh start-up has raised more than $45 Million in funding across multiple rounds from an array of investors such as Accel Partners, IDG Ventures Kalaari Capital, and UC-RNT Fund, among others.
