Levi's Collabs with Barbie Ferreira for a Unique Capsule Collection Blending Artistic Expression and Fashion

Barbie Ferreira, renowned for her acting prowess, creative influence, and style icon status, has joined forces with Levi's, a brand synonymous with iconic denim since 1853. This enduring partnership has given rise to a distinctive capsule collection, featuring a recurring bunny doodle hand-drawn by artist Ben Evans, Barbie's close friend and collaborator.

With an unwavering focus on styles, fit, and color, Barbie closely collaborated with Levi’s design team to bring her creative vision to life in the collection. The Levi's x Barbie Ferreira capsule collection showcases an array of pieces, including an oversized long Dress Coat crafted from washed black denim, adorned with Ben's doodles along the interior seams. The collection also includes a Lace-Up Corset with lace-up details in the front and smocking in the back for an adjustable fit, complemented by the Lace-Up Flare Jean featuring lace-up details at the side hips and a back patch embellished with Ben's bunny drawing. Notable bottoms include '90s 501 Jeans with an allover graphic bunny print and a chartreuse pleated skirt with a raw, distressed hem. Tops in the collection feature a Second Skin Top, a tight mesh long sleeve shirt with a '90s amoeba style print and thumb holes, and an Oversized Bunny Tee, a relaxed black tee with a glow-in-the-dark bunny graphic. Completing the ensemble is the matching reversible Tulip Hat, crafted with chartreuse denim on one side and the '90s amoeba style print on woven fabric on the other.

Barbie expressed, "This collection was inspired by my love for beautiful scenes and creating a story with my everyday wardrobe. I wanted to play with silhouettes reminiscent of costumes from my favorite movies. It was important for me that the collection lived somewhere between a dark fairytale and a nostalgic dream."

To breathe life into the campaign, Barbie enlisted her longtime collaborator and friend, Petra Collins. A multi-talented artist and director known for her new-wave feminist photography style, Collins added her unique touch to the visual narrative. The meticulously planned photoshoot captures Barbie in the collection, embodying a fusion of artistry and fashion.
