Orchard Toys Announces Licensing Agreement in India

Educational games and jigsaws manufacturer Orchard Toys has confirmed an Indian licensing agreement as it expands its international distributor network and explores expanding its network of distributors, with new partners for Benelux, France, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (GAS).

Offering distribution through its Indian infrastructure, Gameworks LLP is looking to deliver the success Orchard Toys has seen in the UK, Italy, and USA.

Gameworks is localizing a range of Orchard Toys games and puzzles for the Indian market with stock being available in early 2023. Products will be produced by Gameworks to Orchard Toys' renowned quality standards and tested to meet India’s stringent BIS compliance standards.

Following the success of localization in various markets, Orchard Toys is looking to roll out the same distributor model in Benelux, France, and the GAS markets. It plans to replicate the brand’s successes in Canada, Hungary, and Italy where they offer a range of localized language products and have seen sales treble in these three markets.

Our market tests have proved successful, with language-specific products delivering a significant uplift in sales.
