Spookley the Square Pumpkin’s television special is set to debut on Disney Junior and Disney Channel in December.
The special promotes Spookley’s message encouraging tolerance and kindness in classrooms – and across pumpkin patches. A Spookley Halloween book by Scholastic is due out in fall 2020. “Spookley and the Christmas Kittens,” a heartwarming tale inspired by the book The Legend of Mistletoe and the Christmas Kittens, will premiere in December on Disney Junior and Disney Channel. It will be available for download on Amazon Prime Video, Apple iTunes, Google Play and more after its original Disney debut, and will roll out on Netflix in 2020. The special is being adapted into a stage show by First Stage, a Milwaukee-based theater company.
“These first three Spookley specials will provide the platform to support a continuous retail and live entertainment presence for Spookley and his friends from July through December,” says Aaron Burakoff, head, business development, Holiday Hill Enterprises.
Holiday Hill Enterprises’ next “Spookley” production is scheduled for release in 2021.
