Kidz Bop ties up with Barbie for holiday video series

Barbie has announced a partnership with Kidz Bop for holiday video series. With this collaboration, Barbie becomes the first artist to appear on a Kidz Bop track. The five-video series will be featuring Barbie interacting in music videos with the Kidz Bop kids. The video series consists of two original Kidz Bop songs like “Kidz Bop Shuffle”, a take on Cupid’s 2007 hit, “Cupid Shuffle”. Other song titles are “Go Christmas” and three remixed versions of holiday classics “Jingle Bells”, “Up On The Housetop” and “Deck The Halls”. The vocals of the Barbie are featured on three of the five tracks. The series will also be starring seven Kidz Bop kids, including Alana, 10; Isaiah, 12; Jacob, 13; Julianna, 14; Layla, 11; Liv, 12; and Stephen, 11. Barbie has collaborated with various brands, fashion from designers including Christian Dior, Oscar de la Renta and more. Its dolls have also been inspired by icons such as Diana Ross, Sally Ride, and Ashley Graham. The Barbie brand has also been licensed into apparel, cosmetics, books, games and more. Kidz Bop has sold over 20 million albums and generated more than 3 billion streams since its 2001 debut.
