LEGO Group and Hasbro Unveil New LEGO DUPLO 'Peppa Pig' Sets for Early Learning

In a collaborative effort between The LEGO Group and Hasbro, new LEGO and DUPLO “Peppa Pig” sets have been unveiled, commemorating the 20th anniversary of the beloved preschool animated series. Designed to ignite imagination and facilitate fun play experiences for toddlers, these sets aim to enhance fine motor skills while encapsulating the vibrant world of “Peppa Pig.”

With Learning through Play at the core of their design, the four new sets not only encourage roleplay and creativity but also foster emotional and intellectual development in children. Through interactions with the sets, toddlers delve into understanding emotions, nurturing imagination, strengthening relationships, and honing problem-solving skills. Rooted in the ethos of “Peppa Pig,” these sets instill in children the confidence to embrace every moment as an adventure, whether mundane or grand.

Catering to children aged 2 and above, the new sets enable young builders to recreate their favorite “Peppa Pig” moments:

• “Peppa Pig” Garden and Tree House: Embarking on Peppa’s love for outdoor play, this set immerses children in the wonders of nature, allowing them to partake in garden games, plant seeds, water sunflowers, and explore the treehouse with Peppa and her brother, George.
• “Peppa Pig” Boat Trip: Kids can join Grandpa Pig’s sailing adventure with Peppa, either sailing on the sea or indulging in onshore activities like building sandcastles, collecting seashells, or relaxing under the beach umbrella.
• “Peppa Pig” Supermarket: Providing a lifelike shopping experience, toddlers can shop for ingredients, fill their carts, and purchase items to bake Peppa’s favorite cake.
• “Peppa Pig” Birthday House: Inviting children to Peppa’s birthday bash, this set allows for roleplay activities such as unwrapping gifts and serving cake to guests.

Roberta Cardazzo, design manager at The LEGO Group said, “Our goal was to capture the essence of the playful ‘Peppa Pig’ world and offer toddlers the opportunity to recreate and roleplay their favorite scenes while supporting their learning and development journey through play.”

Beyond product launches, exciting new play experiences and content await children:

• LEGO DUPLO Peppa Pig play areas will be introduced at select Merlin Entertainments attractions and theme parks in collaboration with Hasbro and The LEGO Group.
• The LEGO DUPLO “Peppa Pig” app, available for preorder globally, offers preschoolers a safe digital playground where they can build, play, and learn alongside Peppa on engaging adventures.
