Sesame Street has expanded its lifestyle lineup, credits to licensing agreements with Crocs and Quiksilver. As per the agreement, Crocs will develop and market a three-pack of JIbbitz shoe charms featuring Elmo, Big Bird and Cookie Monster, as well as a new style of Elmo fuzz lined clogs for kids. Meanwhile, Quiksilver will introduce a winter snow collection of Sesame Street including jackets, snow suits, helmets, mittens and goggles for infants, toddlers and kids. The new line will be available this September. Commenting on the fan base of preschool workshop, Gabriela Arenas, Vice President - Licensing, North America, Sesame Workshop said, “Sesame Street has the best fans in the world. They love to express their love for the Muppet characters with styles that reflect the fun of the brand. In response, we’ve been working with some of the top apparel licensees to create new lines of ‘Sesame Street’ clothing and accessories for the young and the young-at-heart.” Sesame Workshop is also expanding its partnership with licensing agency CPLG in France, Spain and Italy. CPLG will now work to secure “Sesame Street” partners for the apparel and gifting categories aimed toward teens and adults.
