Kim Kardashian flaunts new line of Kimoji merchandise

It seems as if having a clothing line, beauty line, gaming app, website and her own line of emojis, called ‘kimojis’ (obvs) wasn’t enough for , isn’t enough for Kim Kardashian. Moving further, this social media and US reality TV star has set the plans rolling to launch Kimoji merchandise including gift wrapping sheets and phone covers. Keeping up with the Kardashians star has already been business-savvy for a long time, but this move took the licensing industry by surprise. Kim announced the #KimojiMerch news on her Twitter and Instagram recently, which are now available for purchase on her website and app. In a Snapchat video, Kardashian revealed that Kimoji sandals, necklaces, caps, socks, buttons, t-shirts and stickers are on the way. The reality star launched Kimoji in December with the help of Whalerock Industries, former ABC chief Lloyd Braun's digital media company. Kardashian has more than 76 million followers on Instagram and 46 million on Twitter. Kimoji's success has triggered a wave of celebs following in her cartoon footsteps — more than a dozen have so far with developers such as AppMoji and Kapps Media. Major brands are cashing in on the emoji craze, too. Disney announced July 7 that it's releasing an emoji-based game that unlocks the icons of favorite characters as users play. Meanwhile, Domino's has been encouraging customers to preselect their favorite items, then simply tweet a pizza emoji when they want to place an order.
